So I'm having problems with my plug and play again. I had problems with the DCOS server and plug and play before while playings games like fallout 3, crysis, and bioshock and my computer kept wantinr to shutdown. I know how to cancel the shutdown with run/ "shutdown -a" but it keeps annoying me. after the plug and play stops working it says my ATI drivers aren't installed and CCC wont start. I've even reformatted everything (including OS) and I'm still having this problem after 30 mins of gaming. I'm using vista 64 bit. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Casey

Sounds like a hardware instability. Is anything overclocked? Is everything plugged in and seated correctly?

Try running Prime95 and see if your machine is stable.

Everything else looks fine. Overclocked my cpu to 3.9 Ghz. but thats all. It passed Prime95 for like an hour and i just never got around to testing it overnight or anything. I'll try running a few games at stock clock and get back to you. thanks btw

I've had machines be prime stable for an hour, but not for 8 hours +

This is fine in some cases, but there are a few games that will find that instability.

Thanks everyone, i did turn out to be the overclock. bumped back to stock and ran fine, so i bumped it back up to 3.7 Ghz and runs fine. Just as many frames anyways :p
