Wha..?! how can this be, on both platforms, Intel and AMD, single channel memory controllers perform equal to dual ch mem? I can't find more benchmarks right now but scores for Soltek NV400-64 MB for AMD processors at amdmb.com and also new VIA PT800 chipset scores for Intel at hardocp.com show nonexistent or even higher scores for these single memory channel boards...
So who's cheating who here? What's going on? Are we paying for nothing now if DDR400 can provide enough bandwidth with only single channel and processors (both Athlon and P4)can't use more?
