Different kinds of MSI 865PE NEO2 (MS-6728)? help!

Ok, I read the massive mobo article. And was really stoked to go to NewEgg and pick one up. Inexpensive, blazing speed, can run it up to 3.6Ghz. Figured how could I go wrong? Then reality set in...

There seems to be at least 2 different models now, the Model 865PE NEO2-FIS2R at $162 and the model 865PE Neo2-LS at $99.

Does anyone know, which is the one reviewed, and what is the difference? I am drawn to the $99 board of course, low price, but want to get the "right" one regardless of price.

In looking at the mobo pictures provided, the NEO2-FIS2R looks most like the one reviewed, although it's not exactly like it, there seem to be minute changes. Maybe it's the picture...?

Any thoughts are much appreciated! TIA!

The difference is in the features. They should perform the same.

First off, thanks for the help.

Can't always trust the board manufacturers to give the correct skinny when it comes to performance. Sometimes more than just features get cut as components change. Was looking for opinions, experience...

Save me starting a new thread but what you you recommend the Neo2 or the ASUS P4P800 (non Deluxe).
Is either of them better for overclocking? The MSI one is slightley more expensive but not much? Any thoughts?
