boot up problem

I am in the process of installing a second hard drive, which at some point
will

become my primary drive. Today during the boot up process I got a screen
that

said (more or less):

Novell PCI 10/100MB Fast Internet Adapter

Analyzing network media type, this will take several seconds.

RPL-ROM-FFC: (IN THIS PLACE NUMBERS COUNT OFF TO ABOUT 180

AND THEN BOOT UP CONTINUES)

I've never got this message before. I'm assuming that because I was
screwing

around with settings I messed something up.

Please help.

Additionally if you've been playing about in the BIOS setup utility did you
make any changes to attempt to boot to a network? As this error is pre-boot
(at least that's the impression I got) that could be a cause.
