I plan in getting the $99 version of this board and a 2.8 P4. Should i buy 1 gig of PC3200, PC3500, or PC3700 to get the full potential of the board? I plan on buying Corsair and would also like to know if there is a difference between the platinum series and the normal series(both $322 at newegg).

If you want to get the "full potential" of the board, you need to get the more expensive Neo2-FIS2R. Here is how they compare:

• 865PE Neo2-S [Standard Version, Serial ATA(SB)]
• 865PE Neo2-LS [10/100 LAN, Serial ATA(SB)]
• 865PE Neo2-FIS2R [GbE LAN, IEEE 1394, Serial ATA(SB), Ultra/Serial ATA RAID(Promise)]

Also, according to MSI, only the FIS2R has the Dynamic Overclocking Technology (DOC as referred to in the THG review). As quoted from the following BIOS update page for the Neo2:

-Add Dynamic Overclocking item in the BIOS setup (support only 865PE Neo2-FIS2R)
