For putting some frag videos on youtube in good quality ? I think you need a capture card but I'm not sure, any advice and/or recommendations would be great.

It can be done in software. I believe FRAPS will do it.

Oh I forgot to mention that it's my xbox i want to be recording stuff from, do i just connect my xbox to my pc and run fraps?
