help... how do i edit processes in task manager i have 27 running and cpu keeps locking up im sure they are not all neccessary ..... any help greatly appreciated

goto to start -> run -> type 'msconfig'. uncheck all the boxes under the startup tab. reboot. if everthing works fine then goback to msconfig and check 1 or 2 boxes untill you have a problem. That will tell which program is causing the problem.

Also remember to click "SERVICES" and put a check in "HIDE ALL MS SERVICES"

Everything left over is 3rd party.... they also may cause issues... ya never know!
