To all who have been trying to pass the fsx instrument rating checkride go to: FSX Rewards the on the left column choose "Certificates". A page will come up headed: Reward: Instrument Rating

It's two pages long explaining exactly in step-by-step detail exactly how to fly the checkride. It also gives you a map showing you exactly what headings to follow, and explains what NAV-1, and NAV-2 radio setting to dial in and when, and also what OBS-1 settings to dial in and when. Plus all altitudes to maintain. If you follow it to the letter "exactly" you will successfully pass the instrument rating checkride for sure, I did. It did take me a few tries but I got it. Just remember when following the glideslop and localizer, stay right on the money as close as possible, and once you begin to decend remember to reduce your speed down to 70 knots or so. At the treshold have a maximum speed of 70 knots or so. If your speed is much faster you will fail. Good Luck!
