I am looking to sell all of these parts as a whole, I tried building the computer, realized I didn't have the knowledge or time to complete the project, I am in college now and need the money so looking to sell. I bought all of this stuff from neweggs for $1000 and put some of the items in the tower, but computer is not fully built.

I guess I am looking to sell everything as a whole preferably but maybe willing to listen to offers on parts and whatnot....PLEASE RESPOND AND LET ME KNOW.

I agree with dkizzy--your prices are outrageous. You may be able to get them sold at this prices on Ebay (very unlikely still), but if you go on Newegg.com, you'll see that for everything except the hard drive, you're asking at least 150% of New prices.

EDIT: Here's a list of what parts would cost on Newegg if you found any kind of a sale...
$140 890GX
$140 GTX 460 1GB - this is a bit skewed as this card is not really sold anymore. 6870's that have recently been on sale for $130 after rebate thoroughly stomp it though.
$65 WD HDD - tough to figure out what an HDD should go for with the Thailand flooding
$3 AS5 costs $7.99 on Newegg, but I just bought 4 tubes on sale there for $2.99
$50 Windows 7 OEM - Check ebay, but it's tough to sell Windows when I know you've already seen the key.
$130 Haf 932
$1 HDMI cable - that's the price I buy most of mine at--unless you can tell me it's the fast 1.3 or a 1.4 cable
$3 SATA II cable - see Amazon.com
$? Kingwin what? Okay...maybe if someone needs that part
$16 DVD drives cost this on sale reasonably frequently, but they come new with warranty, etc.
$110 Phenom II x4 965BE - this is what the Phenom II x4 960T Zosma costs and I'd prefer that CPU, especially new.
$65 Corsair TX650 1st Gen. 2nd Gen costs $75 after rebate regularly--lower with NewCustomer10 or Google bucks. XFX 650W's go for $60 or $50 after rebate so $65 for a used item may be generous.
$25 4GB 1600CL8 DDR3. 8GB (2x4GB) 1600CL9 kits are regularly $30. But yours is faster stuff, so I'm giving it some credit.

My prices are generous, overall. I strongly suggest you just build this machine yourself or you'll take quite a big loss.

No these are not the prices I am asking for haha, these are the prices I bought them for on newegg when I bought them...sorry I guess I didn't make that clear. The prices next to the items were the prices WHEN I BOUGHT THEM...not what I am looking to sell them for. And the reason I am selling the components is because I ran into a problem while building (I am a very very new beginner when it comes to building) and I could not solve the problem to save my life. And now I am in college and just trying to get rid of it. Any help on building would be appreciated too I guess tho...see where maybe I went wrong.

So to clear any confusion are you actually selling these parts or just trying to find someone to help you assemble your machine? I would suggest doing research and updating your thread with initial asking prices instead of just listing what you paid for the parts. It can be perceived as obnoxious by regular forum visitors and experienced sellers/traders. Personally I would slash those prices to get the parts sold quicker otherwise just close your thread and keep the entire rig.

Alright jaguarmatt I am not quite sure what you are trying to say in your last two responses but if you are actually interested in some of the parts I listed I would probably be willing to part out the build. So if actually interested, please let me know.

Someone took over my computer while I was away and typed messages.

Anyway, I'm interested in both hard drives, the sata cables, and the DVD drive.

Yes, never been opened helps substantially. Also--those being the prices you paid makes a lot more sense. In that case, you may want to remove the original purchase prices since they're irrelevant and may scare people off. I still think you should just build it and LAN in college.
