Yes, it's possible to do this on your laptop, but depending on the laptop's
spec's it may not be worth the trouble.
Select a webcam that meets your needs and ensure that it comes bundled with
surveillance software. There's many, many varieties of this on the market
and I'm sure that you can find one that suits your needs.

lm thinking of outdoor and indoor surveillance, so if l go o/s l can log on
and see whats happenning...possible? does a web cam act as a security camera
too? l just got a wireless security camera to put outside that l can watch
through my tv via a receiver but ideally would like to use tv and
laptop......help, lm not a wiz on this! LOL
