I have am 8 Gb flash drive, and I want to put GTA San Andres on it. GTA is about 4 Gigs by it's self. I was wondering what the compression ratios are for the driveis. I need about the game size in un-compressed drive space. I need to know it so i can write a program to compensate the slowness in the file.

The compression ratio has nothing to do with the flash drive, it's determined by the compression algorithm and the data being compressed.

Are you trying to run the game from the Flash Drive ? seriously flash drives are fine for storage - but to try and run the game would have severe performance issues

Well, yes and no. I would like to use it for both storage and gameplay. My friends have GTA 3 on the flashes and it runs fine. They also have AOE 2 on it, but that is an easy game, low usage. We try to do these things on school computers.

Okay. But how well would it work in a 2.0?
