Can you copy your Xbox 360 Gamer Profile?

My question is basically that I wanted to copy my Xbox 360 Gamer profile to my memory unit so I can take it to friends and stuff but it appears that you can only "Move" it rather than just "Copy" it. So is it possible to move your profile over to the memory card and then recover it on the 360 harddrive? Or is there a different or better way of just copying my gamertag?
