This 1ST person shooter is pretty cool and enjoyable, I don't think I've had as much fun playing a FPS run and gun like this since Serious Sam Second Encounter, the single player game is quite challenging when you crank the difficulty, and these uber weapons the Nazis are creating are pretty cool capturing and using against them.

Its kinda like SciFi meets WW2, anyhow I thought I'd post this about it because it is fun to play, and kinda addictive, 6hrs seems like 2hrs and you still don't want to quit.

Personally I'm really enjoying the game, I'm on my second time through it and will probably play it again, and you surely cannot say that for many of the latest releases, so I give Wolfenstein 2009 a big thumbs up. Ryan

I was massively looking forward to Wolfenstein and to be honest I wasnt that impressed with it. Not much has changed since the last game in the series.

Though I could also point out that the latest Halo is dull by comparisson to previous version of the game. Maybe game developers are running out of ideas and just fob us off with cheap updates

I am hugely disappointed with this game. It might have been good if they hadn't released RTCW (which was one of the best games I've ever played) and if the game didn't use the ID Tech 4 Engine (i.e. Doom 3) which is pretty outdated when compared to newer stuff.

The fact that you regenerate health really takes a lot of the challenge out of the game and IMO the non-linear play just isn't that compelling.

That being said, the weapons are pretty cool, but again it's annoying to have to spend a lot of time to really upgrade your weapons fully.

This game was a poor follow-up to RTCW but if you haven't played that then I guess it might be interesting.

Yeah, a lot of times when you're really looking forward to a game it can be quite disappointing, if it doesn't far exceed your expectations, I had the same feelings with FarCry2, IMO it just didn't cut it to my expectations.

I have enjoyed Wolfenstein 2009, but its been quite a while since I played any Wolfenstein game though.

Sorry to hear that!

Didn't get to play RTCW so I can't compare or relate to it.

As you said the weapons are pretty cool, and personally for my experience I'm having fun with it.

Well thats true but if you collect all the Tomes and Intel, your veil power and weapons are instantly completely updated.
