for example say i want to play some old game like no one lives for ever 2 will it pump up the poplygon count on those and make them look better. or will they still look the same as they still do now runing x10 hardware . if it cant do this then maybe at lest he can do this for dx10 games and make those look better i know a lot people would realy want to upgrade to win 7 and dx11 then if we could go run some old school games like can we say quake lll or older lol and make that eye cany pop . it would be worth every peny to me to do this.
i gess what im trying to ask is after watching some demos
will Tessellation effect older games? i sure hope so

It will not make the games look better, unless you are running at higher settings than you were back in the day. The game is programmed around a certain version of DirectX, and without significant modding or patching it will be limited to that version, unable to take advantage of the improvements brought by later versions.
