Asus A7N8X 2.0 Deluxe and AGP

Newbie question: The Asus A7N8X 2.0 Deluxe requires AGP x8 (1.5V). I'm considering the GeForce TI4600 which is x2/x4 - will it work or smoke in the mobo ? Thanks,

is that supports up to AGP 8x or 8x only ???
if up to 8x, you will be just fine... of 8x only that board is very fussy...

That board doesn't <b>REQUIRE</b> AGP 8x, its just saying that it'll go up to 8x. But it is backward compatible, so you can run a 4x or 2x card in there too. That ti4600 will work.
