Sims 2 toddler cheats

why do you think my game is crashing when my baby evolved into toddler?
I'm so confused because every time i saved my game it is crashing. but when i try saving the game before the baby grow its not crashing-

My game hasn't been crashing per say, but it does have glitches, like my people can't get up outta bed no matter how long I wait, or other things like it. One or two characters just freeze. I just save my game on a regular basis and when it crashes, I just start where I last saved it. And if that doesn't work, moving them to a different house worked too. Lost all my stuff, but I could at least move the sims.
