Using get right. A dsl line that shows 100Mbps. very slow speeds
running from 20k to zero, but usually around 15k plus or minus. Also
will not perform segmented downloads and if I try to run segmented
downloads I get the message that the server does not support resuming.
Tried fdm with pretty much the same results
Any help would be appreciated.

What site are you downloading from?
Are the sites in question high-speed?
What does your ISP say?
If you have DSL - why are you using a download manager?

Ed
Just because you have high speed at your end does not mean that the other
end is high speed.. if you are accessing a server that is 'on the brink',
access times will be slower.. a connection is only as fast as the weakest
link..
Download managers are not a requirement for DSL.. don't use them..

If you knew as much as you thought you know,
You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew!
