I just got it as a gift (long story, but I can't return it.) It is still unopened in its original box. It's a 19" Philips. Can find more information at:

I am going to buy a 21" and hence sell this 19" to help me pay for it. Anyone interested in a getting a pretty descent monitor, drop me a line at mazya@hotmail.com. I am asking for $300 OBO. Thanks.

How much would you pay for we to get that piece of crap off your hands?
if you were talking of a Sony monitor things would be different, now a Philips is another entirely different question!

Anyways, I have decided to keep the "piece of crap" for now and get the other monitor later.

No hard feelings , but Philips monitors really are crap!

This is lordKaos standard line of reasoning for all products except Sony products, check out any of his posts. I'm convinced he works for Sony thus every other product is c%^$.

One thing its for sure, your Cornerstone or whateverstone can´t compare with them! And not giving the full information on those comparison won´t change a thing!

I don´t work for Sony (Wouldn´t mind though and i think you wouldn´t too!), i just have seen almost every brand of monitor and found out that the Sony´s have the edge over all of them except where price is concerned! And if you were a non biased fellow you would see that too! Magazines, some web sites,professionals ( Architects for example!) not to mention the awards those monitors get year after year!

P.S: If your knew the CD-RW recorders from Philips as you say you know the monitors you would see i am right!

P.P.S: I already disputed all the points on the comparison you pointed about the monitors with clear winning for Sony , so don´t be a sore loser!
