My ps3 is making noices from the back, I think it is the fan can it be fixed?pls help

The PS3 has a large heatsink / fan combo sitting on top of the mobo - and is usually very reliable.

When you say you can hear a noise can you be more specific.. ie is it while playing games or watching films ?

Dont forget the HDD & DVD drive both have mechanical / moving parts and could easily be one of those making a noise.


I recently had to replace a blu-ray drive on my old console...
