i am thinking about purchasing a new cordless keyboard and cordless optical mouse (i am using a french keyboard at the moment and all the keys are in the wrong place), i was just wondering if cordless stuff has any downfalls? (e.g. short range or not perfectly reliable)

thanks

The only cordless mouse I've used is the Logitech Mouseman cordless optical. Works great, except there's a bit of a lag. Fine for desktop work, annoying in games.

What about that MS one? It's quite a big lugger. Too big for my hand. It's also $100CDN.

My firewall tastes like burning.

Well my brother has the Logitech Cordless Desktop and he spends much time playing games (AOE2x) and I didn't hear any complains about it so I guess it works good.

Well I got the Logitech Itouch optical and I'll just give you one advise,do not use cheap bateries ,they last 5 to 6 days,I've put some energiser in about 2 months ago and they are still working, when I bouth those cheap ones the 20 pack lasted me about 2 months ,I was about to sell the keyboard/mouse and now I just love it !!

Thanks, for the tip. I'm sure my brother can use it when his batteries are empty.

Globe111 don't use the 'enlarge trick' to often otherwise Fredi will fix the bug causing it.

You just use the pre tags to make the font size look more normal.

I'm using a logitech itouch keyboard and a Logitech cordless mouseman optical. I've had both for over a year now and I've never had any problems other then running through cheap batteries. I play JK2, Max Payne, and RTCW with no notciable lag. So IMO they work great.

i was thinking of getting the logitech, what is the range like? i seem to remember it is stated as 1.5m but that seems really short.

p.s. i play jk2, max p, rtcw, deuxex, delta force 3 (and internet reversi but my graphics cant handle it), does anyone recommend any other similar games?

Now the only thing you need is a bigger monitor so you can read the screen from that distance.
