hi all

i am in the process of buying a new computer at the moment and am getting it custom made (since it is cheaper than buying the components outright, go figure) Anyway the company who is building it for me has emailed me back saying;

Regarding to your email 07 Aug 03, on Ryan's system ,it is the same
situation, the mainboard doesn't like the 333MHz fsb very much. We have
tried everything single stick of memory on the system but with no success.

Is this a load of crap? Certainly the 8rda3 would be fully compatable with an athlon 2600 FSB 333? Epox themselves say on their homepage that this mainboard can handle fsb's up to 400mhz. (http://web.epox.com/html/motherboard.asp?product=EP-8RDA3 &lang=1)

What do u think? A load of crap or what?

I don't think he is lying...i see no reason...i would tell him to just build the damn thing and give it to you...if you still have problems rma the board...that thing can do 230mhz just fine...

If i put my k6 in a Ferrari it would be faster than your your pentium 4 or Athlon XP :tongue:
