Here's three:

<A HREF="http://www.snapfiles.com/get/regseeker.html" target="_new">Regseeker</A>
<A HREF="http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2048" target="_new">RegScrubXP</A>

I use all of them, and have gotten good results.

I'm dl'd RegSeeker now. I will see how it works.

RegSeeker is my personal favorite of the three. It often finds items that other applications of this type overlook.

Be sure to make a <A HREF="http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/doci..." target="_new">backup</A> of the Registry, just in case. The Registry is completely unforgiving of errors, whether created by a user, or by a third-party app.

RegClean worked for me, 675 errors, and seems faster now.
Thanks again...

and I backed up reg first.

I've used RegCleaner for a few years now, always worked very well. However nothing works as well as a fresh format.

Back when I was using Windows98 SE everyone thought I was nuts, becuase I formatted at least once every 2-4 weeks. However this just seemed necessary to keep Windows running stable and working at a good performance level. (Somehow my dad has been running the same windows install for 5 years now??)

With 2000 Professional my formats spread out farther, but were still needed.

I now run XP professional, and my formats are pretty much only needed when doing upgrades.

Still like my fresh formats though, everything seems to run faster.

I ran regcleaner 3 times and found 650 problems all together before nothing was found.

Then ran regscrub and found 121 more probs first run, 8 the second run. After i was done fixing everything, my computer is deffinately running faster. Apps open up alot faster and whatnot. And my popup problem has stopped(hopefully)

Very much appreciative of the info, Thanks a billion.
