Hi, I have a question, that I couldn't find on Google, becuase they bought results back for both the games.

A few years back, I used to play the Mod "Day of Defeat" it came to mind recently so I decided to go get it again. But then I noticed it was just a mod for Half Life. Now heres where it becomes a little sticky.

I have both Half Life 1 and Half Life 2. Which one was it for? Which one should I install? I completly forgot. Sorry.

:)

Day of defeat was a mod of half life, however it is a game in it's own right. Day of defeat:source, is an update of the game based on the HL2 source engine and again, it is a game in it's own right.

Used to play it quite a bit, good game, haven't played it in years though.
