I've just bought an MSI 865PE Neo2-S board, with a Geforce FX-5200 T128 AGP card. First, the system booted into windows xp but after installing video drivers I got reboots and all kind of errors.
The videocard is tested in a different system, and is OK.
Now, the system won't even power on, just keeps dead. The only way to boot is with a PCI videocard! (and works perfectly)
Send the board back to my dealer, they have 10 more boards but are unable to get it to work. Swapped DDR, PSU, pulled the board from the case, nothing worked.

Specs:
MSI 865PE Neo2-S board
2x DDR 256 Kingston valueRam 333
MS-8917 Geforce FX-5200 T128 AGP 8x card
500 Watts PSU.
Components checked on Asus P4B533, no probs here.

What can I do?

Thanks, Arthur.

have you tied a diffrent agp video card...could be some agp slot problems...

also if you have a pci card in the slot next to the video card...remove it...you could have an irq conflict...

If i put my k6 in a Ferrari it would be faster than your your pentium 4 or Athlon XP

Did you install the CHIPSET drivers first?
