WTB Laptop MXM Type A Graphics Card

I need a laptop MXM Type A graphics card to replace dead laptop graphics.

My GT 240M is dead and I'd prefer a cheap GeForce MXM Type A card to replace it. Maybe a 9300M or GT 210M or similar since it won't be used for gaming at all--just hulu and other internet video. Please let me know if you've got parts. Thanks.

I would also like to hear about offers for Radeon cards, despite them not being my first choice because I'd like to maximize my chances of compatibility since limited bios updates are available.

  1. N/m--I got a GT 240M on ebay for $78 (including shipping). More than I wanted to pay, but not too bad.

Anyone else: Post a tip that sounds like advice and you'll have the "Best Answer" since there won't be competition.
  2. You have to be careful because some MXM cards can be type B, like my Radeon 5870M. Hope this helps!

    Thanks

Yep, mine's Type A--lower power draw & smaller profile. Thanks.
