I just transferred my phonebook from an older Motorola phone to my new
V60s. It was a painful process. Now my wife is about to go through the
same exercise. Is there any way to get these phones to talk to one
another, directly or through a PC?
We do not use Outlook, by the way, but I would not minding writing some
code if necessary. It is a more amusing way to pass the time than
entering phonebook information by hand.

A store should be able to do the transfer for you...

Short answer: I think so.
I've heard that DataPilot makes a cable and software to manage your
phone through your PC. Never followed up on it though, since I use a
Mac.
If all you want to do is transfer the phonebook, a local Verizon store
can usually do the job for around $10 bucks.
I transferred my V60s to a Samsung a530. Takes about 25 minutes, and
worked perfectly.
