I recently decieded to build my first PC. I guess i see it not only as cheaper than purchasing a prebuilt unit, but also as a valuable learning experience. I'm pretty much decieded on an Asus P4c800-E deluxe Mobo, a p4 3.0 cpu, 1 gig Corsair XMS DDR400 ram, 160gig WD hardrive(on sale for $99 at compusa.com if anyone's interested), and a CDburner. Originally, i was going to wait a little while to purchase my Graphics card, but my question is, will i be able to start up my system without one? Basically, i'm asking if anyone knows if the motherboard i've choosen has any onboard graphical abilities? If not, i'll pick up a radeon 9800 pro or fx5900 ultra (haven't decieded on which yet). Otherwise i'd like to wait a little while. Thanks for any help.

the motherboard doesnt come with built in graphics....i'm jealous, i wish i could run out and pick up a $400 video card (and the other quality components you are assembling).
