After i installed the game everytime i try to launch the game on steam i get a windows message saying, "left4dead2.exe has stopped working...windows is checking for a solution to the problem"

I have restarted steam, reinstalled steam, restarted the pc, installed latest driver, reinstalled the game and none of it worked.

can anyone help?

No offense here, but perhaps your PC just cannot handle the sheer awesomeness that is L4D2.
Maybe posting your specs would better help us understand your plight.

Did you pre-order the game? If not you cannot play the demo... The demo can be pre-loaded to your HDD and activated once it comes out, but only if you pre-ordered the game.
