So I went home on my lunch break today and was able to get in a game and a half of shattered horizon. I have to say that for $20 bucks, I am impressed. The game brings something totally different than other FPS's. And you have to admit that when you ran 3Dmark you wondered what it would be like to fight as one of the guys in the space suit. Now you have the opportunity. The game is pretty demanding as I was not able to run it on full settings @1680x1050 without some stuttering with my setup. Overall the game is simple and fun.

It looks amusing enough but I haven't had a chance to grab a copy yet, I might though.

I was able to max it out at 1920x1200. Looks very nice and definitely provides enough entertainment for $20.

I'm incredibly intrigued by this game... I recently got my GTX 295 and have been maxing out Crysis on 1920x1080, and haven't felt graphically satisfied. I mean Crysis is beautiful to look at, but it is the same thing over and over, and there are only so many of those awesome explosions to watch. after watching the hd YouTube trailers, I'm excited to give this one a try... as soon as my bank account recovers from the 295 that is, ha!
