I can't seem to connect a WinXP client to the Windows 2000 Server domain. I've connected approx 30 clients in the past without any problems, but this one just won't work.

When trying to connect to the domain the xp client says it can't find the administrator account on the domain (though I'm 100% certain it's correct). Later in the process when offerred the opportunity to add an account I get an error message saying "the trust relationship between the workstation and the primary domain failed."

If I try and log on to the client with a domain account I get some garbage about not being able to log on because the time is set differently on the client to on the network.

As I said, I've connected about 30 clients to this network in the past without any problem. I've tried changing to a workgroup, restarting and then rejoining the domain, but it still doesn't work. I can however, browse the network (after completing prompt for username and password) and use the Internet.

Any suggestions?

Fixed the problem by using a different network port. Bizarre though, as the one it didn't work on still allowed network and Internet browsing.
