Not sure where to post this, so thought I would start here...
I need a program that will moniter a "button" and when the button changes colors, I need the mouse cursor to move a tiny bit and then send a mouse click. Thats all that I need, now here is why.
Every year I have to take some online training. Part of the training requires that I sit in front of the computer while long and rambling mind numbing tutorials run. I have to sit here while each "page" runs its course and then and only then can I click on the next arrow so I can sit in front of yet another monotone basic information class. In total I have about 60 hours of tutorials that I have to watch before I can begin taking the Lessons so that I can take the exams.
I would like to be able to start the tutorial and place the mouse cursor over the "next" button, start this program that I need someone to make for me and then go about my business while the tutorial runs. Some tutorials take 4-5 minitues, while others take an hour or more. One thing that I did notice is that if the mouse cursor does not "move" slightly you can not press the "next" button.
I have seen gaming bots that do quite a bit more complicated things then this, so I would imagine that this could be done by someone who knows what they are doing. I don't!
I would be willing to compensate someone for their time, if this could be done in the next week or so..
I do the training, it is the tutorials that I hate. I have seen the exact same tutorials for 5 years now. They have not changed or updated one single part of the turorial. They do change the lessons and the tests. I got no problem doing them, it is the stupidity of the tutorials that drive me crazy. For what it is worth, I have 30 years experience in my field and am considered a subject matter expert. I have testified in court several times as a recognized expert in my field. That doesn't mean that I have nothing to learn, just that "THE TUTORIALS ARE A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!"
That being said, I did find one program that works off of a timer, but the problem being the presentations are all of a different length. If you press enter to early, the program will advance, but the section that had the bad click through doesn't register as complete and you still have to go back and pick up where you left off.
I really need something that will read the "button" and then and only then send the click through.
Could you not set the timer to the length of the longest tutorial, and leave it running overnight? Not the most efficient way of doing it, but at least the pc is wasting its time while you sleep!
