If I had any money, maybe $120 including shipping. But since I don't, I could raise $20 for you!

How much would you pay for a new Asus P4P800 Deluxe mobo in retail package.

You asked what would you pay, not where is the cheapest or best buy.

Honey, what's that smell? Don't bother me now I'm working on my computer! OOPS!

LOL I wasn't poking fun at you, it does matter how you ask sometimes.

I'm not up on the Intel boards myself. I use mostly Newegg buying parts. Not always the very cheapest, but very competitive. The fast shipping is icing on the cake as well.

Hehe, when you asked how much I would pay, I assumed you were selling, not buying!

You may have noticed that such things cost MORE on eBay that they do at various online retailers. Not only that, but you're far more likely to get ripped off, at least 10% of such sales are scams from my experience. So with eBay, you pay more and face rippoffs.

I based my OFFER on what a board like that would be worth, at most, used! Of course some idiot buyers do exist, which is why it might go for more, used, on eBay!

Well, I have had very good luck with items purchased from Ebay, and I have even sold some items on there myself. But, I do know that there are some people out there that will take you money and not deliver the product.

So, the question still stands, where can I obtain this board for the best price ? And is it worth it, or should I go the 875p chipset...

If you want to save some money and get most of those features, go for the Abit IS7, it's relatively inexpensive.

Well, I went for it.. I have just placed my order with NewEgg for the P4P800 Delux with a 1Gb of DDR400 RAM :)

Can't wait for it to come in and test it to see how well the PCI bridge works when used with the Firewire and RAID 0...
