I've put an order in for an ASUS A7N8X mobo and 2 sticks of 512MB PC3200 Ram from Crucial. Is this memory compatible with this board? The list on the ASUS website hasn't changed in months.

I did have a MSI K7N2 Delta-L motherboard with PC2700 from Crucial, but I never got either of the boards (I got two, one as a replacement for the other) to work with the memory. Was that a compatability problem?

Hasanyone had either of these two configrations and got them working?

TIA.

They should be fine. That ASUS website and their motherboard manuals and documentation are far from perfect, so I wouldn't worry.

I have an ASUS A7V600 board and a 512MB stick of Corsair XMS Platinum 3200 DDR. This memory was not listed on their website or in the manual, but it works fine.

 My CPU runs so hot it creates a quark-gluon plasma

many of the earlier BIOSes on Nforce2 mobos had problems with RAM that was set to default to very low latencies. Even if you did have a problem, a simple BIOS flash would fix it. I had to on my Epox 8RDA+ when I got some corsair stuff. I'd be suprised if you did have any problems though.
