I was looking at the Gigabyte GA-8LD533. Does anybody have any experience with this board or this chipset (845GL)?

Thanks

Any specific questions about it? Like how badly the video performance sucks? What would you like to compare it to?

This system is going to run Word and some accounting/law programs, file sharing, etc.

Basically, is it better than a $400 Dell refurb? Are there any SERIOUS stability issues or installation gotchas?

In my area you can buy a PIII 500E minisystem, complete box for $150. That's MORE than enough power for that stuff. Most of these cheap used systems are comming off of 3 year leases by major corporations, if they were smart they'd just buy them out of lease since their office workers have no need for P4's.
