IRQ sharing help please

Hi,

I have a problem getting my Creative Webcam 5 to work since changing to this Asus P4B533-E mobo. It works on other boxes I have and all latest XP drivers are used.

When I plug it in I get the deathly blue screen reffering to..

usbhuh.sys (FA8697BA6 base at F8696000

I have got it down to IRQ 16 is shared by my GForce2 MX/MX400 with the latest drivers and this..

INTEL(R)82801B/DBM USB Universal Host Controller 24C2

There are two other mentions of this Controller in Dev Mgr but on IRQ 18 and 19.

I have taken the GEforce out and hoped it would take another IRQ on the way in again, but it went to 16 again.

What are these Intel references? Are they for the mobo or the webcam?

Any suggestions what I should do to get it all working right?

Sometimes Windows does a poor job of configuring card resources, you could try setting your BIOS to "PNP OS-No" and "Reset Configuration Data-Yes" and see if BIOS does a better job than Windows. Even then you might have to try it in different slots.
