I would like to know what kind of mobo i should get. I know absolutely nothing about motherboards i am doing research currently but seens to be a lot to learn. Anyhow i was wondering to help narrowdown my search what would be the recommended mobo to get?

It is mainly for gaming and it must be USB 2.0 capable
Im not sure what this raid feature ive been reading about is yet. Again if you need any certain iformation about my pc please ask. That is if anyone is willing to help :)

Oh my current motherboard uses the asus a7v chipset
1ghz amd anthalon
512mb of ram
geforce 4 mx 440 :( wanna upgrade aswell
233 fsb

Nearly all nForce2 boards would be great for you, Epox has a nice inexpensive model.

Refurbished, means someone returned it, newegg retested it, nothing was found wrong with it, and now newegg is reselling it.

A lot of people mount their boards wrong, then when they don't work say "uh, bad board" and return it, even though there was nothing wrong with it.
