Hi,

I just installed a AMD Phenom II x4 925 processor. I have Speedfan 4.40, is that good enough? I have it on a Arctic Silver 5 with an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro 92mm heat sink and I want to monitor the temperatures as I run Prim95.

Thanks,

That's what I use. You can also use AMD's OverDrive (AOD) utility, and one of the tabs will give you temp and fan speeds, plus a ton more information. You can download it from AMD's website:

http://game.amd.com/it-it/drivers_overdrive.aspx

I use the above mentioned app and also SpeedFan for when I am interested in only fan speeds and temp.

Also, you might want to look in to a good sidebar gadget. Not familiar with one that gives realtime fan info, but it could be out there.
