Hey, im building my own P4 System (opted for p4 instead of amd - i think it was the right choice - am i right?)

I think im going to go for a 2.6GHz (PG-800FSB) HT Intel Pentium® 4 CPU 512k Cache which i can get for about £175 but im a bit unsure of what motherboard to get.

As the motherboard is one of the most inportant features i'd appreciate some help in choosing. I was looking at a Asus P4C800 but i see alot of people here are using an Abit IS7. What are peoples opinions on the boards, or would you recommend something new.

Other components im thinging of getting are a 128Mb ATI Radeon 9600 Pro - any other suggestions

Thanks

IS7 is a far better value, P4C800 has a couple more features. Pick one based on what features you want and how much you would prefer to spend.
