i can't get out of vault 101 the game just turns off after it asks me if i want to change any thing e.g sex, S.P.E.C.I.A.L

Bethesda games usually have a load of bugs (I had one just now.) Just make sure the game is patched to the latest version. If you haven't started over, try that since you're still early in the game.
