Please, don't say MW2, because I am not getting. I would like input on a game that is entertaining. I just finished the HL2 series and need something new to occupy my time. The game doesn't have to be new, but I don't want it to be older than 4 years. I like all different genres except for RTS. Any suggestions?

Left 4 Dead 2 demo (free)....
Crysis Warhead is better than the original IMO
Did you get the Orange box? (you mention HL2, so I'm assuming you've played Portal et al)
The Witcher (Enhanced Edition)...

So many choices.

That is a good suggestion, I tried the Crysis demo and wasn't really impressed with the game itself. Anyone play NBA 2k10? Its only 20 bucks.

Another Steam deal this weekend is Overlord and Overlord 2. Less then $10 and just good enough to get you through the weekend.

I already beat overlord the first one and got tired of all the minions. Have you played medal of honor: airborne? Its only 10 bucks.

You could go out to bar, score some puss from some skank,instead of playing games,but if you must play a game, I'm gonna go with Left 4 Dead too

Currently installing Dragon Age Origins.Maybe that.MW2 is good.I was impressed.Not with shooting,but the story...

Can't go wrong with free so LF2 for the win. I also downloaded nba2k10 which is entertaining.

While getting herpes sounds like a good time, I have my 1 year old son tonight so I don't have the luxury of going out and banging a skank. When he goes to bed, its game on.

I have been playing operation flashpoint dragon rising , it's pretty good

I'm in a similar boat as you. My son is great, but his mom is a snobby (blank). When my boy gets older, we can play video games together which will be fun. I'll have to school him as I've had 20+ years of gaming experience.
