I just put up my new personal website <A HREF="http://www.luckyfellas.com/Personal/Josh/index.html" target="_new">here</A>. Comments welcome; layout critique, loading times, content, whatever.

I'd like to get my webcam working, but it's all blurry, as you can see :frown:

What's your page gonna have do you plan. So far there's not ... much .. let's just say. Good loading times. Good layout, although it looks a little primitive. Pretty good overall. Just add some stuff. Maybe a computer FAQ, like a DRAM FAQ or overclocking FAQ or something. That way you can always show a n00b the way to your own personal FAQ.

BTW, how much does it cost to keep a .com website up and running?

What's the deal with lampshades, I mean it's a lamp, why would you want a shade? :smile:

It's just a personal page, I don't plan on having any computer info. That's what online forums are for :wink:

$35/year or so for the domain name. Everything else is free if you know what you're doing. Good hosting with unlimited bandwidth is around $30/month.

hmm... you know i love the point you've brought up

my ass does know when it has to go, it knows the difference between a fart and shitt, it also controlls the orifice well, it knows when its constipated or diarrheated (new word), it knows..... so on ans so forth

Luckyfellas is just the domain, it was originally just a website for all the guys that live in that house. We use the [LF] tag when we play games online, there are about a dozen people that come to regular LAN parties and use that tag. There are four people in the house, the person who's moving out that I'm replacing is getting married tonight. Someone else is moving out in August or so, not sure who's moving in yet.

The other people's pages are <A HREF="http://www.luckyfellas.com/Personal/index.html" target="_new">here</A>. Matt hasn't had time to make another graphic for me and put up the link, and I don't know what font he used or anything. Go to Drew's page and download some music, they're actually pretty good.

Hmm, nice...your doing right in keeping it "clean", no "hidden" buttons or to much things that distracts the viewer.
I hate websites that has to much unneccesary clutter, even if it looks awesome.

The only thing that I could click on and have work was the webcam thing and the email. Also I got the underconstruction page to work. I didn't see any songs anywhere.

Why has the web-cam picture not changed for like the past 10 hours? The sun is still at the exactly the same spot, although, supposedly it refreshes every 5 seconds?
