New PC gaming console, could be great for mods?

Of course you can expect exhagerations. But if this thing sells for $300, with a real gaming card, and a hard drive...100% compatable with many PC games and running a PC OS, you could theoretically turn it into a cheap gaming PC. Add an external DVD-ROM, etc.
