I just received an update to my Modern Warfare 2 via steam and this is what it said in the details for it.

I am going in to see if it makes an improvement or not.

I can't tell any difference but what ever I thought it was funny there is a patch to make it better already. They need to just go ahead and support dedicated servers and bump the player limit up to while they are at it. I have been seeing players with bad ping every where and no it isn't just my connection because I actually get good ping my self.
