I'm wondering what is the destination folder for all downloaded Microsoft
updates/hotfixes? I thought of burning and compiling them on a CD so I don't
have to download the same files when I have to work on other computers or
when a certain unit is reformatted.

Hi,

Another has given you the location, but not all updates are preserved once
installation is complete. If you go to the update site and use the
administrator options, you will find that you can download any/all that you
want in a standalone executable form.
