Keyboard Stops working

I just bought the Asus A7V600. For some unknown reason my keyboard stops working when I get into XP's Setup or into windows. It’s an older keyboard. I like the "clicky ones", but I have a few other older keyboards and they work fine; this keyboard worked fine on my Asus A7V266-E. Any ideas?

PS Anyone know where I can get more of the "clicky keyboards"? I really like to tactile response.
