My other computer connects to the Web wireless, through a USB adopter. No
problem from a cold start. But when I do a restart, it is not recognized.
When I unplug and then plug into another USB socket, the connection is
reestablished. Any way to fix it?

Here's how to manage your USB devices;
'A USB device may not be redetected after a power cycle '

Well, the URL you referred to calls for downloading a service package
which, there was a message, that the computer already has. So the problem
persists.
