I remember reading that ATi graphics cards don't pair up too well with nForce 2 chipset motherboards. Does anyone know if Matrox cards and nForce2 chipset mobos have similiar compatibility issues?

Both ATi and Matrox cards pair up well and are compatible with the nForce2 chipset.

Agree with Prof133. I've used my Gigabyte Radeon 9000 with both nForce(1) and nForce2 based mobo. I had 0 problems

I pretty much only use ATI cards, but for an AMD machine, I only pick out the InVidia chpsets, I concur with my fellow posters that you should not have any problems using an ATI card.

If it works for you then don't fix it.
