When I turn off Hardware Acceleration it works again, but then I lose
all of my Nvidia properties and I need those.

David;
I just discovered something. If you go into WMP tools/options/performance/
and reduce the video acceleration to 1/2, it cleared up my video problems
immediately. In checking the XP system hardware acceleration setting in
control panel, it wasn't changed, nor are my Nvidia settings. It seems it
just reduces the acceleration in WMP.
Hope this helps you. It solved my problem completely.
