Well all the time i run this machine as it is with nothing really
installed it goes like stink but as time goes on and more stuff gets
installed and uninstalled it starts to chug so i used word as an
example but any program really would have done because if i can do it i
would do it with all my programs, if i am incorrect in this thinking
please enlighten me

If you know how to use windows correctly (say dont let windows do what
it wants to do) you can install and uninstall loads of stuff and keep
windows running stably (relative to windows, relative to say FreeBSD,
windows is like the titanic except it hits 20 or so ice burgs) with
consistant startup and shutdown times.
