Go to the page and click order now, pick out a dvd, click order, goto check out. Not once at any time does it display any kind of users agreement that you are joining a club like Columbia house.
They do have link on the main site to join the club but all I click on was order now. Every month they will send you a new dvd at normal retail cost. You then must search the site for 10 mins to find anything about canceling, let alone that I joined anything. Then all it says is send an email here. Then you get a reply from that email saying that they will not take you off the list by email alone. You must call them by phone and wait till you get the phone bill for that 5 mins call.
I see a big class action lawsuit coming for them. They force you into the club even though you never join. Until you jump through their hoops, which you pay a fee for every hoop you jump through. Then they might cancel your "club" membership. Even though you never join any club or agreed to any membership.
Since they use a blind user agreement that you/I never see or agree to. I have my own blind agreement, any and all copywrited material sent to me is null and void. I have full permission to copy and sell them under my own name.
I accept paaypal and MO 3 GGW dvds only 5 bucks plus actual shipping.
Never argue with a fool,
a bystander can't tell you apart.

I'm a twit and don't know how to do that.
Plus I always worry about getting a virus infection from those kinds of downloads.
You will need to know what news-server your isp provides or subscribe to a third party one like Newsguy and also get a better newsreader than that provided by M$ (outlook) or Netscape I like Forte' Free-Agent personally and you are right you should use an AV scan before you open any files, although I will admit I have not seen even one virus dowloading from news groups in about 7 years ( YMMV)

Back in the old days of Columbia House
they would send stuff to "General Delivery"
if you were in a small town.
So you give them a fake name and by the time
they realize your not going to pay them
you've got 20+ tapes/CDs, and they had no
way to track you.
Gee, I really enjoyed the Dark Ages.
